IndianaWeatherOnline.com is pleased to announce Project Awareness. The goal behind Project Awareness is to get as many people prepared for severe weather season as possible. Severe Weather and tornado season is right around the corner, and this upcoming season is forecast to be extremely active.
Each year about a thousand tornadoes touch down in the US. Only a small percentage actually strike occupied buildings, but every year a number of people are killed or injured.
Project Awareness will provide educational seminars/discussions to groups and to provide severe weather safety information. The educational seminar/discussion will be geared towards the age group (adults, teenagers, children, etc.) attending, however the basic information will focus on tornadoes, severe weather and preparedness & severe weather information.
